It would seem that I have not updated this poor little site in quite a while, and I really do have a good reason, I swear. I have gotten the front page working over at Phaser Labs (the renamed version of Temple of Technology) and it now features some neat do dads so that I can write up my own little blog over there. I think that as soon as I am comfortable I’ll begin moving the stuff over so that it will actually make for some SEO stuff. I may like the design here, but I like my own design for phaser labs a great deal (ok its not perfect, but I do like it). Anyway needless to say I’ll begin porting over the blog post here pretty soon. So you will find them over there.

Ok, look, for most of you that know me, please be aware that I am in no way a conspiracy theorist, that kind of useless ravel just irritates me. But this is not one of those times. I honestly from the bottom of my heart which that all the evidence that I continue to see cross my little eyes are not adding up to what they are. I have for years now been reading about government and international politics, as well as the general bits of history. With that in mind what I am going to hand over to you a series of information bits over the course of I am sure several months (I am a pretty lazy guy). But there is a serious problem with this nation, and we are almost right on the clock for what should be happening. And what is happening you might ask? The fall of the United States of America.

Alright, so after seeing enough ads for the poor thing, I figured I might as well comment on the small and unsettling fact that Paramount by some strange force has decided that it would in fact be a good idea to go ahead and make this movie, despite the thoughts of most every Star Trek fan across the planet.

Alright, so here is the thing, it has been quite a while since we have seen magic so broken as now. And while some have called it the death of magic, other have called it its only savior. It is the first set in the last 10 years of magic in which we have seen a legitimate new card type. We aren’t talking arcane or a legendary enchantment, we are actually talking about a whole new card type. This of course is the all to well known planeswalker type which when broken down is really nothing more than an enchantment with a weird upkeep cost. The thing is that these cards really re define the whole idea of a power balance, and not just in the way of super good rares.

Alright, so a few weeks ago, I ranted on about how sometimes I just get mad at the internal bickering that seems to occur between mod teams all working on their own little free time projects. And one of the big reason I brought it up is because of this general feeling of dislike towards Fleetops. I could take my own guesses as to why it is generally disliked, but I feel that is just kind of low and I got my point across in the last post. Anyway talking about fleetops so much I figured that it would be a great time to review the mod in general, to really give a brushing over of why it is that I come to defend this mod in terms of their work and skill. So without further adieu here is fleetops in a pass:

Alright, so this is one of those lovely mods that is sitting out there. This one comes out for the PC and is based around the game Starfleet Command Volume 3. I figure its about time to go ahead and do the mod review that I have been meaning to do for a while now, and give credit where credit is due. So the following will attempt to analyze that which is Starfleet command volume 3: Near Distant Future. I should note it has been just a bit since I had booted up the mod, so forgive me for that. Anyway yeah, this is just some notes I took while playing the game.

About that webdesign promise that I made back when I started this blog… I finally gave up and came to the conclusion that I am either to busy, or to lazy to actually write up what is needed in terms of getting a nice little template off the ground for this site. So I did what for the most part I consider to be the lazy thing and installed a template. Now I know that as a webdesigner you are supposed to have some sense of standards for the websites that you run. But I decided that it was not only in my best interest, but in the interest of my non existent reader population that I try not to make this forum look like the default little wordpress theme that we are all used to.

One of the things that always puzzled me about voyager was their amazing ability to deal with damage in terms of what was dealt by species like the borg. And I am left with one overwhelming question: how is it possible that is the same intrepid class starship that left spacedock only 7 years ago. The only answer is that. The fact of the matter is that the ship has become way to powerful for it own good. And in this regard, you actually begin to really damage the credibility of the show that you are attempting to promote.

Alright, the following is a review of a mod for the Dawn of War base game. I want to be frank in saying this one still has a lot of work, but be sure to read the inside details for some of the key reasons that it could take a few more months for this one to hit the front shelves.
To start off, I figure I’ll go ahead and point you in the right direction in terms of where in the world the mod is. The fact of the matter is that this mod really still is in the alpha status, a lot of the features throughout nearly all of the races aren’t really done, and those that are seem to be only partially so. This isn’t to say the mod is bad, simply that this really is an Alpha Release.

I noticed that I really have written anything in a long while, and I thought about something. Although it may be helpful to write long rants from time to time, I really could care less to write these abusively long exposes about life, the universe, and pretty much everything. So I figured since very few people are reading this anyway that I would simply proceed to make much shorter post. A lot of that happens to do with the fact that so few people actually take the time to read these days, a problem I suppose.
But Yeah anyway for the interest of actually keeping new and fresh material on the conveyor belt, I think I am just going to stick with making quick and short post that people can read and go about their daily lives, without really feeling anything. This helps me because I rarely write in some overly long extemporaneous form anyway. I would rather keep it short so that I don’t feel bad each time I write something and it doesn’t feel quite long enough
So Yeah.
